Following the visible successes of recent years, we are continuing our tree planting cooperation with ISCOT in the Madi Opei region in northern Uganda this year .
After having distributed more than 100,000 seedlings to village communities, farmers and schools in the region in recent years, this year we have distributed another 10,000 small trees to motivated farmers and farming communities. In order to ensure that the cultivation of seedlings can be shifted from Kitgum to Madi Opei in the long term, we have also built a cistern. You can find a brief report with video on this page.
The detailed report on this year’s activities can now be found on the updated project page Magic to Uganda (’24).
