We are very pleased to announce a cooperation between Magic to the World eV and the Swiss foundation ON A MISSION for the next planting season and Magic to Uganda 2025. ON A MISSION (OAM) will support us financially to distribute 40,000 seedlings to farmers and village communities in Madi Opei and the surrounding area to combat climate change and mitigate the effects of drought in the region.
ON A MISSION is a swiss non-profit organisation restoring forests worldwide, empowering local communities, protecting biodiversity and positively impacting the climate.

With ON A MISSION we have gained a valuable partner and sponsor for our project in Uganda with whom we hope for a long-term collaboration. The organization works with a dedicated team of experts from different countries and disciplines and already supports projects in other African countries such as Kenya, Madagascar and Senegal. A lot of the work is done by volunteers, so that ON A MISSION can pass on more than 90% of the donations that the NGO receives to tree planting organizations like us. The agreement between ON A MISSION and Magic to the World eV initially relates to a partnership for next year and the next planting season in Uganda. For its investment, OAM receives 10% of the CO2-compensation, which we calculate via the Open Forest Protocol platform .
