When a devastating earthquake hit the region near the Nepalese capital Kathmandu in April, more than 8,000 Nepalese lost their lives and several million lost their homes and belongings. The international society provided emergency aid in the millions and immediately sent food and helpers to the earthquake area.
Our small initiative Dresden to Nepal , which represents the first project of the later commitment within the framework of Magic to the World eV, collected donations, which we used with the help of our friend Mukesh, who was active on site as a first aider, for school books, water filters and solar systems to affected families and schools.
